Free salad, yummy yummy

This morning we had our usual breakfast of a mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich and chocolate croissant (which are not called croissants here). The croissant was made with egg bread, honey, and nutella. In total this was about 3 euro.

We went to see a tomb, but I was wearing shorts and wasn't allowed in. So we tried to find the pasta museum, but it wasn't open. Then we went to the pantheon, and on the way stumbled upon some unbelievable churches. The churches had a lot of dead guys buried in it, and we tried to find secret passageways (but to no avail).

Then we went to a ruin that I saw on the discovery channel once that is populated by cats. There was a cat sanctuary so we went and met cats with neurological issues (not kidding). When we tried to leave the cat land, a cat tried to swipe at us and we got stuck in the room for a while...

Now we just ate at a random restaurant near a police station in the middle of nowhere and had SUCH good pasta. We got some specialties of Rome (I can't remember what they are) but our spaghetti had holes through them. So good.

Now we're heading to the torture museum. Very exciting and different! I'll blog about it tonight!
