A giraffe!

After checking in at our hotel, we went to the Villa Borghese (the same park we Segwayed at) and went to the zoo! The tiger growled at Michael, we played with peacocks, we saw a hippo being fed, and Michael and a cockatoo made friends. It was a great day, and we were there for hours. Then we went home to shower, and watched Italian MTV until we fell asleep. Then we wandered around for dinner and found a random place (again). Best food. For 10 euro each, we had a half a litre of wine, an appetizer, and 2 mains. Delicious. Made friends with some people from Georgia Tech on exchange, and wandered around some more. Then ate THE BEST GELATO. I have a new obsession with pistachio, and this place had a pistachio meringue flavour. It was awesome.

Aside from Michael's allergies, this was one of the best days (and we didn't even see any ruins!).
