After lunch today we went to the criminology museum. It was veeeeery cool and off the beaten path. It had old torture devices and weapons and stories of some of the biggest criminals in Italy. Definitely a highlight.
Then we tried to find a free walking tour, but got lost and didn't make it in time. So since we were sunburnt, we decided to go in search of water. We found schweppes arancia and limona, which was better. We wound up in a park where we rented SEGWAYS!!! They were so awesome. Then we sat on the Spanish steps during the sunset.
At the spanish steps, you get accosted by people selling roses, toys, purses etc. and Michael had enough. So whenever they came up to us, instead of saying "no grazie" 100 times, he would say "banana?" in an Italian accent and confuse the hell out of them. We got some great reactions but the best one was when the guy didn't understand "banana" and kept saying banana back to us. It was a conversation of "banana" "banana?" "ehhh banana" "banana?" and then Michael asked me "banana?" and obviously as his partner in crime I responded with "banana". We caused such a scene that a man who was also peddling crap to everyone was laughing hysterically and we laughed with him. He was impressed. We made a name for ourselves today. From then on, people knew not to accost the banana people.
Finally, we had a fantastic dinner at Orso 80 with some friends from Toronto. We ordered an antipasti that came with more than 12 dishes, and by the time our main course came we couldn't even eat! Then we went to the Trevi fountain at night, and watched some people taking photos with their iPads looking like they were posing for a magazine (extremely hilarious).

You went to L'Orso 80 good job!! I hope it was as delicious as I remember. Looks like you guys are having an incredible time! Have fun and keep posting pics!
